Trends within the fitness industry are always prone to change and yet after many decades of evolution…group fitness is still a mainstay for millions of instructors and participants.  Even with the move back towards interval training, there is still an appetite for dance, resistance training, Pilates, Yoga and everything in between for people wanting to share the experience of a workout with others.  Richard carved out his reputation initially through group fitness, developed his interpersonal skills teaching across the UK and with his background as a PT, he was able to create innovative workouts that entertained and got results.


Group fitness workouts are much more than loud music, choreographed movements and shouts of encouragement from a single entity at the front of the room. These unique blocks of time offer social inclusion opportunities, huge physical benefits and massive amounts of psychological support. Boredom is not an option with the variety of workout choices offered across the industry. From kickboxing and dance classes, to boot camps and indoor cycling, a good fitness instructor will challenge your perception of a group fitness class and your limits.
